Sony has been very firm on the fact that it doesn't want to re-enter the handheld console market, but if you're still hankering for a new PlayStation Portable, then perhaps Chinese firm GPD has the solution.
The GPD Win 4 has just leaked, and the design looks a lot like the Sony PSP. The images come from Cary Golomb, and show the device from both the front and back. As you can see, the Win 4 is sporting a slide-up keyboard, something that was also present in the GPD Win 3, its predecessor.
In case you'd forgotten, here's what the actual PSP looks like:
Not much else is known about the system, but Retro Dodo claims that it might be powered by AMD's Ryzen 7 6800U Mobile Processor and that the screen could be up to six inches in size. Retro Dodo also predicts a price of around $999.
The market for handheld gaming PCs has exploded lately, thanks in part to the popularity of Valve's Steam Deck. We recently went hands-on with the Aya Neo Air, one of the most portable examples yet.
Originally released in 2004, the Sony PlayStation Portable would go on to sell over 80 million units worldwide – less than its direct rival, the Nintendo DS (that sold over 150 million units), but still a resounding success. Sadly, its successor the PS Vita was something of a commercial bomb, and Sony hasn't followed up with another handheld console since.

It's pretty! I just wish it had the same D-pad configuration, since I prefer to play classic games on stuff like this.
These systems are all well and good, but the price is a killer. If it cost the same as a Switch then maybe.
