Anbernic is something of a heavyweight in the retro gaming handheld arena, and it has just announced two new devices for 2022.
The first is the RG353V, which boasts a Rockchip RK3566 chipset, 3.5-inch IPS touchscreen display with 640 x 480 pixel resolution, 2GB RAM, 3,200 mAh battery, HDMI-out. Bluetooth 4.2 and 802.11 Wi-Fi. It's also possible to boot into either an Android or Linux-based OS on this model, which means you can play thousands of Android games.
Alongside the RG353V, Anbernic has also released the RG353VS. This version includes all of the above features but has 1GB of RAM and less internal storage. It also lacks the dual-boot functionality, so there's no Android on this cheaper unit.
The RG353V starts at US$112.99, while the RG353VS starts at US$89.99. The units are available in black, grey, purple and white and begin shipping on October 10th, 2022.

Ordered a transparent purple RG353V.
Will replace my RG351V (early Christmas gift for my brother).
Great. My RG351V is by far my go to device ahead of Ayn Odin, Switch Lite and RG351MP. Can't get enough of the form factor but more power is welcome. Good move by Anbernic after a string of atrocious handhelds.
