QUByte has announced that it is bringing First Samurai and Second Samurai to modern systems this week.
The pack will be part of the 'QUByte Classics' series, which is a joint venture between publisher QUByte and Piko Interactive, the latter being a company which has aggressively hoovered up classic video game IP over the past few years.
Originally released in 1991 for the Amiga and Atari ST, Vivid Image's First Samurai delivered slick platforming action at a time when home computers were being outperformed in this area by Japanese consoles. It was later ported to the SNES. Second Samurai came in 1993 and would launch on the Amiga and Mega Drive.
The collection comes to Switch, PS4/5 and Xbox Series X/S on 3rd November 2022. It will cost £8.99 / 9.99€.

I remember playing the first instalment of these games on PC for some reason. It definitely was a hard game. I don't think I ever made it to the end. Nice to see they're coming back, but calling a bundle of two games a collection is stretching the term a bit, if you ask me.
