Sega's Wonder Boy series has enjoyed something of a resurgence of late; not only did we have the amazing remake of Wonder Boy: The Dragon's Trap, we've also been blessed with a Wonder Boy collection on modern consoles, as well as Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom, a semi-official spin-off title.
Now, it's the turn of the fans to give us some new Wonder Boy content. We're already getting an Amiga version of the original arcade game, but even more exciting is the news that indie developer Samuel Blanchard is working on an unofficial Wonder Boy sequel for the Atari ST called Miracle Boy in Dragon Land (thanks, Indie Retro News).
Outside of the fact that it's on the ST, is being made "with love in 68000 assembler" and will replicate the action RPG aspects of the Wonder Boy series, there's not much else we can tell you at this stage.
Still, you can join this Facebook group to track the progress of the game and follow Samuel on Twitter for more updates.
