Kaizou Choujin Shubibinman Zero, Masaya Games' sidescrolling beat 'em up for Nintendo's defunct Satellaview service, has finally been translated into English.
Kaizou Choujin Shubibinman Zero (or Shockman Zero, as the title is often referred to in English) was first released in 1997 for Nintendo's Japan-only Satellite broadcast service, which meant western players were not able to experience it at the time. It later received a limited cartridge release on the Super Famicom in 2017 to celebrate its 20th anniversary, but again, the game was never given a wider international release.
Now, thanks to this new translation patch, western players are finally able to experience the game with English text by patching the 2017 release. This is all thanks to the work of the hacker Svambo, translator Anonymousse, and tester Nokia3310.
