Japanese video gaming legend SNK is moving offices for the first time in 35 years.
The company – formerly known as Shin Nihon Kikaku Corporation – moved into its office in the Esaka area of Osaka in 1988, just prior to the release of the Neo Geo system.
Although SNK had achieved fame in arcades before this point with titles like Ikari Warriors, Vanguard and Athena, it would enjoy its most profitable period in its new office, creating the likes of Fatal Fury, King of Fighters, Samurai Shodown and Art of Fighting in this iconic building.
It would also release the Neo Geo AES, Neo Geo CD and Neo Geo Pocket platforms during this time, as well as the Hyper Neo Geo 64 arcade standard.
SNK will relocate its main headquarters to Yodogawa-ku, Osaka on March 20th.
