Telltale's Strong Bad's Cool Game for Attractive People has been pulled from Steam following the expiration of the developer's license to use characters from Mike and Matt Chapman's web series, Homestar Runner.
The developer confirmed the move on May 30th with the following statement:
Unfortunately, we can no longer support Strong Bad’s Cool Game for Attractive People. We no longer have the rights to the IP and so we can no longer sell or support the game series.
So, whether you’ve had a dance party with The Cheat or you poked fun at Homestar Runner, you can still download all your episodes from the PC digital storefronts where you bought the game.
It was originally released in 2008 and also launched on the PlayStation 3 and Nintendo WiiWare.
Telltale, famous for its episodic adventure titles covering properties such as Back to the Future, The Walking Dead, Batman and Game of Thrones, filed for bankruptcy in 2018, only for the brand to be revived by LCG Entertainment a year later.
While LCG has retained many of the company's previous licenses and even offered former staff freelance positions, some of its titles – like Strong Bad – are now no longer available for purchase digitally.

"We can no longer sell or support the game series"
WHEW before i clicked, i thought strongbad + co had been cancelled 😬
A shame too, it was relisted as well. Couldn't Telltale give the game to the Chapmans (Chapmen?) so they can sell it?
Strongbad is getting a new game soon btw https://store.steampowered.com/app/2442020/Dangeresque_The_Roomisode_Triungulate/
15 years was a long license period.
Blimey, Homestar Runner. I don’t think I’ve heard that name in almost 18 years. Was an almost ubiquitous thing in the latter days of Web1.0.

might as well have been southpark in my social circle, high school c.2000
Would have been smart to give a heads up press release BEFOREhand:
"Only 1 week to go before Strong Bad game is delisted on Steam", etc.
I would have picked it up.
