Topic: Retro Achievements

I’ve noticed lately some Retro streamers I watch doing RA’s. Not sure if this a newer trend but I’m typically not clued into much media at all. It looks like an interesting approach to old-school gaming. Anyone gotten into these or have any info about how it’s set up?

I dont care for achievements, but I know Duckstation has them implemented.

Okay cool. That video is only 9 months old so I guess it’s something people are getting into lately. I’ve never done any game achievements, I don’t think it’s my style of playing.

I love Retro Achivements on RetroArch.

It gives a new lease of life to games I finished decades ago.

Retro Achievements is only fun when the achievements are doable.

That's always how I feel about achievements/trophies in general.

Every now and then I go on a bit of a trophy hunting run across PlayStation games and then always come up against a terrible set that feels unfair, or pointless

There's just no consistency as well. And that's the same across official platforms as well as RA

@roe I also wish when I reported unfair achievements that they were quicker at looking at them and communicating with me about them.
