Title: The Legend of Dragoon

So the other night I decided to begin a playthrough of The Legend of Dragoon on PlayStation. I had only ever briefly played it during it's day, as it was somewhat later in the PS1's lifecycle I believe. I'm not sure how well received it was, but I can say so far I am thoroughly enjoying it, as it's relatively all new to me while still giving me hits of nostalgia for RPGs of that era. I've just made my way to Bale. I've only got so much time to spend on the game these days, so will probably be slow if I decide to continue on through.

Has anybody else played the game? What are your thoughts?

Hands down my favorite RPG on the original Playstation. It's just got overshadowed by Final Fantasy 7 but to be honest Legend of Dragoon is a much better game. It's just a shame they never followed up with a sequel.

That certainly is. I do recall seeing rumours of a remake floating around online though. I've made my way to the Town of Hoax and survived the ambush. Starting to get drawn into this..

@exit There has been rumors of a remake and/or a sequel for years, I want to say since the PS2 Era. At this point I don't see it ever happening, but at least I have my original copy and a PS3 so if I ever get the urge to play it again.

This is easily my favorite PS1 RPG. I loved the soundtrack so much I would get the songs stuck in my head. That theme song was so great!

It had such an Awesome story and world. I loved the characters too.

I have wanted a sequel to this for years!

@Guitar_bard OMG I forgot about the soundtrack!!! That battle music everytime you engaged in a battle, it really got you pumped for it!

@Tasuki I like this one. I think this is the main battle theme right? I’m hearing it a lot.
