About The Game
Gaming's greatest historical epic opens an exclusive new chapter on PSP, in a direct sequel to 2007's smash hit Assassin's Creed.
Set between the events of the original game and the new sequel you once again control 12th century assassin Altaïr - although you no longer have to worry about also playing as Desmond in the modern day.
This is no dumbed-down spin-off though, with a huge game world to explore however and whenever you like. Just like the home console versions you've complete freedom to climb up and over every building and obstacle, as you treat the island of Cyprus as your own personal assault course.
Using a mixture of stealth, acrobatics and brutal combat you must track down and assassinate all remaining members of the Knights Templar. Using new tricks and old you can hide in crowds, dispatch enemies from the shadows and ultimately tip the balance of power in the ancient world - and perhaps beyond.
Key Features
Original assassin: The only direct sequel to the original Assassin's Creed puts you back in control of Altaïr, as he tracks down the last of the Knights Templar.
Island adventure: Visit a brand new open world environment as you explore the whole of the island of Cyprus and its many secrets.
Tools of the trade: All the same weapons and equipment as the original game are available to you right from the start, including Altaïr's signature hidden blade.
New tricks: Altaïr is still gaming's most acrobatic hero as you use his amazing parkour skills to scale any building and learn new moves such as the stealth ledge attack.
PlayStation connection: Connect your PSP to the PS3 version of Assassin's Creed II and unlock special extras, including six exclusive new weapons in both games.
