With the weather being the way it is in Europe and parts of North America at the moment, we've been looking for any excuse to cool off. And it seems Nintendo has answered our prayers.
It announced earlier today on Twitter that it is bringing Wave Race 64 to the Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack service and that the game will be arriving on the 19th of August (cheers Nintendo Life!).
The Nintendo-developed jet ski game lets players compete in a number of races across various locations and modes, with four characters in total to choose from. It is the sequel to the original Wave Race for the Game Boy, which was released in 1992, and has appeared on digital services in the past like the Wii and Wii U Virtual consoles.

More people should play it, it's a great gane
Never been able to play this one until now, I'm so excited. I said it over on NLife, but there's something uniquely special about N64-era racing games and Wave Race illustrates my point perfectly. Cannot wait to play it come Friday!
Nice. That intro brings back so many memories.
