AYANEO has just dropped a ton of exciting new information about its upcoming products.
The news comes courtesy of a blog post shared on its website earlier today, where the hardware developer gave a closer look at its 'Remake' product line, which features the motto "Interpret Retro, Reshape Classic" and includes new devices based on retro machines like the Nintendo DS, Nintendo Game Boy, NES, and SNES, in addition to the Apple Macintosh computer. So below we've summarized all the biggest news that was announced about these upcoming devices in one easy-to-read list.
AYANEO Pocket DMG

Looking at this device, it's impossible not to think about Analogue Pocket. Announced earlier today, the Aya Neo Pocket DMG appears to be AYANEO's attempt at creating its own vertical Game Boy-style device and is still being kept somewhat under wraps for the time being.
AYANEO, for instance, hasn't announced any information about the specs for the device, and there are only a few close-up images of the handheld available that demonstrate that it will also feature shoulder buttons and an analogue joystick in addition to four face buttons.
AYANEO FLIP KB & Aya Neo FLIP DS

We covered the original announcement of the Aya Neo FLIP keyboard edition back in September, but since then, AYANEO has also announced another DS-style version of the device that replaces the keyboard with a touchscreen similar to the classic Nintendo handheld.
From everything we've heard so far, it seems that both handhelds are expected to be powered by an AMD Ryzen 7840U chipset, which seems to be the go-to at the moment for a lot of emulation-based devices.
AYANEO Slide

The AYANEO Slide is another one of the devices we already knew about prior to the post and have also covered on the site before.
It also packs an AMD Ryzen 7840U chipset and notably features a slide-out QWERTY keyboard and a 6-inch, 1920 x 1080 pixel display.
Here is the pre-launch page.
AYANEO Retro Mini PC AM01

The AYANEO Retro Mini PC AM01 was one of the surprises from this set of announcements. As the name suggests, it is a mini PC that will fulfill a bunch of different uses, including gaming.
The design is clearly meant as a tribute to the Apple Macintosh and even includes a small, multi-coloured rectangle on the right of the device referencing the early Apple logo. It will apparently feature "various processor versions and customizable hardware configurations", and can be bought pre-installed with Windows 11.
According to the post, it will be launching in mid-to-late November. Here is the pre-launch page.
AYANEO Retro Mini PC AM02

Not content with announcing just one mini PC, AYANEO also revealed the AYANEO Retro Mini PC AM02, another small computer that features a design reminiscent of the Nintendo Entertainment System.
It contains a front-loading cassette slot, where the USB and 3.5mm audio ports can be found, as well as a secondary screen that can be used to display information like the time.
AYANEO Retro Power Bank

In addition to all of the handheld emulation devices and PCs that were announced, Aya Neo also unveiled a new SNES-inspired accessory.
The AYANEO Retro Power Bank is a new pocket-sized power source styled after the SNES / Super Famicom and features two USB-C ports where you'd expect to find the controller slots. It is the first of a number of retro accessories that Aya Neo plans to release, with the company announcing more will be revealed in the future to create a diverse line of products.

Ahh i want the Sticks to be paralel go each other, as on the Wii U or Playstation
I just can't play Games when the D-Pad is asynchrone
Unless their gameboy thing folds I can't see buying one over the miyoo flip. The ds device is very cool, I'd like to see scale for it though.
I’ve never known a company to have such a bad case of hardware diarrhoea. How many different devices can they release in one year? I can only assume they’re trying to throw as many things out there as possible to see if they land on a winner.
These things remind me of a late 00's UMPC and the early/pre-smartphones with the keyboards. Never been a fan of those micro-keyboards, I feel like the appeal for this sort of design came and went. Maybe it would be appealing for big fans something like DOS retro gaming though.
@BulkSlash
Well, the DS Style one with dual Screen could at least be a Solution to get a Replacement for a DS/3DS.
You can get a DS for a reasonable Price, but at least here in some Parts of Europe, the 3DS is very overpriced.
Also with the Closure of the E-Shop, it could be a Way to play Games as near to the original Experience as possible.
Eh, just bought a brand new, new nintendo 2ds xl, while emulate rather than playing it on the console itself. Also I don't think the battery life will be good, or the software, unless it use it's own os like analogue os.
@Azuris Yeah I did think about its value for DS games. The trouble is the lower screen is a long way from the top screen and doesn’t seem to be scaled well to fit with it. Something like Contra 4 where you’re jumping between the two screens or trying to shoot things on the top screen might not work very well with that layout.
You’re right about 3DS pricing, it’s kind of crazy how expensive they are. Back in the day people would be practically giving away old systems once the next generation was out!
@BulkSlash
It is kinda strange considering that it sold so well, as the DS.
But it seems People aren't giving them really away.
You are right about the Screen, hopefully a Model 2.0 or another Company will fix that.
I have the original 3DS and a new one, the original one got an broken Cable to the Sceen and got fixed.
but i think they aren't as reliable and i really love the Library of the Systemy, so i really hope to have a Way or another to play those Games.
Maybe in VR with a 3D Feature XP
