CeX Retro Watch: April 2024

The fact those gba and gb games out just out like that is some trusting stuff. Easily pocketable by some sinful scum.

I'd really like to go back to York, it's actually a really nice city. Rather difficult for me to navigate, though. Ended up taking what felt like a mile-and-a-half long detour to get somewhere, when in the end it was like 15 metres and a corner from where we started.
Anyway, doubt I'd buy anything from CeX if I returned, don't have a lot of money at the minute, and I think I got everything I wanted from there the last time I was there, but they might have something new.

Seems like some interesting stock they have there. Like you, I’ve never seen a virtual boy game in there either!

I do like browsing their stores and picking up the odd cart from there to treat myself.

Some interesting stuff in there. I’ve never owned a NegCon, I’d really like to try one of those one day. I did have the JogCon which was pretty good.

@Damo Did Europe get that Dawn of Sorrow reprint where the boxart is a photo of an original copy? (including repeating all the logos and stuff)

@Elitepatriot That was why my local store near put only the sub-$5 games out in a box. The rest behind glass.
Only trusting that nobody's going to want to get caught stealing licensed garbage.

That is a lot for Belmont's Revenge since my time. I recall paying less than that for a Castlevania Legends cart.

I don't get it, all the CEX stores near me are ridiculously overpriced. I don't understand how they get away with stuff like charging the same price for a used XBOX Series controller as a brand new one from any other store.
