@Blofse Considering the Zelda cdi remakes are still around after almost 4 years I don't think they're going after this.

@nocdaes Nah it's been like this in terms of relevance for a few years. With people getting nostalgic and some people using them as fashion accessories.

@RadioHedgeFund Apparently he can't really do anything since the copyright expired from being underused so the new company just took it

@Dalifano86 ROM hacking aren't really in the same legal area than fangames since you have to patch a ROM to actually play them

@GravyThief commit is a GitHub thing which records changes in a project's source code, kinda like a snapshot.

@mariteaux The texture revamp was mostly cause the textures were becoming kinda ugly and they didn't really follow a solid art style
The new mobs are kind of a mixed bag, some like the piglins and illagers were a great addition to the nether and villages respectively, and then there's the allay which everyone just collectively forgot existed.

@mariteaux I think java is still pretty good, 's just that they how they announce and treat the updates should definitely improve

@KitsuneNight They have never taken down a program like this tho.
If they wanted to take it down they literally can't since it doesn't use their assets.
They're still a company that has to abide to how things work
