It's present for sure, but it really isn't a dealbreaker.
It would be better if it was improved for sure, but I can understand why Nintendo doesn't make it a huge priority, because a vast majority of players will never even notice one way or another.
A content warning splash screen is an effective way for older content with outdated tropes/ideas to be left unchanged and intact, but without shying away from the reality that such notions have no place in modern times.
It's unfair to judge a past society's norms by modern standards, and it's important to preserve things as they were, warts and all. We can't see how far we've come if we cover it up, and a content warning acknowledges and highlights how we have progressed and evolved as a culture.
I genuinely can't believe the apparent audacity of the creators, did they really think they'd get away with this with all the meddling kids on the internet?
Didn't think I'd ever find myself saying this but I think I genuinely prefer the design of the Retron. The Retron's not going to be winning any beauty contests any time soon but it's more interesting that the dull, grey lump here. Having said that the additional functionality is certainly a positive, even if I lack any and all PC Engine, Game Gear, and Famicom games.
Looks like it's definitely worth considering if you want the extra functionality, but lacking proper NES support does make this a very Japanese-centric device.

That's such a cool result, I assumed even the original Oculus would have been more technically complex than it supposedly is.

@Rhaoulos Yes, it's out, in fact it has been for 20 years and the article is just lying to you.
Re: Polymega Answers Critics With 25 Minutes Of Sega Saturn Gameplay Footage
@nonprophetmusic You can't load ROMs onto it directly, you have to use original cartridges and discs.
EDIT: God damn it @Damo, let me defend you myself, stop sticking your nose in

Re: The Retro VGS Wants To Revive The Glory Days Of Cartridge-Based Home Consoles
I'm worried about this, it sounds like a great idea in theory but I can't see an awful lot of support for it in the long term.
It's a nice idea, but I don't really think it's anything more than that, which is a real shame.
