Would love to see a review of this, or even some shots of the pages. Been slowly building a collection of gaming coffee table books and need one for the Saturn, but it also needs to fit the bill and it's hard to see what's really about...
My parents had an intellivision and an Atari XES (though we just called it the Atari). We got a megadrive when I was very young so not sure which I played first. I was born in 86 so I am guessing megadrive came later
I would love to see the PS4/Xbone ports of the Cybertron games become available again. Was annoyed I missed them first time round and they are holding me back from getting rid of the 360
I wish I loved this series more. I have tried a few times but given up every time. I still buy it though because I want it to be successful! Wish the 2nd and 3rd get a remaster too!
Aw this is such a shame. I was planning on getting this. All the other similar books were limited run and sold out (unless anyone can direct to something similar and good?)
@romanista the base module includes the disc drive so you can play disc based games with that. The modules you can swap in and out and allow you to play and install cartridges/use the original controllers for that console
@Serpenterror they have said the expansion pak will be automatic, like with the Saturn it's automatic. No configuration required. 64DD - no idea here, I'm pretty sure they were looking into it, but it would need a bespoke disc drive right?
The shipping cost is now insane for European customers. Would cost me 80€ just for shipping. Wish I could get it but it's far too expensive right now
I just finished finished Panzer Dragoon Saga. Haven't played it for about 15 years and it's still amazing. Now I just went super modern and am playing plague Tale requiem - it's stunning. Maybe the best looking game i have played
@Axelay71 ah fair. When I bought mine I thought it would include the taxes, but I paid so far in advance and the anticipation was so much I was kind of ok with it in the end. I do hope they find some other way of bringing money in to make the console a little cheaper and price more paletable for most people
@Axelay71 they ship to the UK but you'll get charged tax on shipping. There's also WWD which are supposed to be covering Europe but everyone is saying they are a nightmare to deal with
@ChromaticDracula if you can spare the money now I'd place your order asap and get in the queue. Seems they (along with everyone else) are still struggling with manufacturing and shipping - better to get something sooner than wait for the Ultra to become available and delay everything
@abdias it's a great machine in my opinion. Have you tried it? I love that I have all my retro games in one place, yes there's a few omissions and stuff that they are still working on, but it's a great console and for me better suited than an Analogue because I want to install my games on the console and play from the hard drive. @specter_of-the_OLED apparently super game boy support will never come - I can't remember exactly but it's to do with it having Gameboy hardware in it which needs to be read in real time. Which an emulation machine can't do. Hopefully there will be a Gameboy module at some point
I panic pre-ordered back in April last year. My Saturn is on its last legs so basically bought this as a replacement for that, but with some added bonus of megadrive and ps1. Hoping it lives up to my expectations - I'm super excited at the moment. Also have high hopes that the digital store will be great, but think it's unlikely the big publishers will sign up
I don't want another console. I want Saturn and Dreamcast games (mostly Saturn) on my switch. Sega give too much love to the megadrive and not much else. A game gear collection could be cool too. Never had one when I was young
A lot of these questions were answered already in the first beta. A streamer called sarumaru did loads of live streams, and someone from Polymega was online answering questions.
I mostly want to know about the online store, when it will ship and also how long can I play a game from the hard drive without having to put the disc in? Is there any sort of check? Can I borrow someone else's game forever basically!!
I am tempted by this. I hope it works well particularly on Saturn games. I do wish I could play/buy other games so I'm excited by the prospect of an online store too.

Are we worried they are spreading themselves too thin?

Re: Pre-Orders Open For Polymega's N64 Module Ahead Of Spring 2023 Release
@bryce951 I know right! I realised it's so high because I was ordering two modules and it was assuming two shipments. It's still crazy though...

Re: The Making Of: Sonic Triple Trouble 16-Bit, 2022's Best Fan-Made Reboot
Any ideas if this will ever be made playable on a Megadrive? Or will it always be PC only?
I'd also love to see Sega pick this up and run with it for modern consoles - obviously giving credit to and paying the original team...
Wonder if a sonic chaos remake could work too?
Re: Polymega's Next Update Brings More SNES And Super Famicom Support
@Axelay71 pretty good. I've not tried many Saturn games yet, but only had an issue with discworld

I am eagerly awaiting my pre-order, hoping it arrives in the next few weeks!

Re: Hardware Review: Despite The Delays And Drama, Polymega Is The Ultimate All-In-One Retro Machine
Do we know what games are not compatible??
Can't find the compatibility list anywhere. Seems to have dropped off...
Re: Polymega's Launch Is Delayed Until Early Next Year
I don't mind the delay. Too many new consoles at the moment! What I do mind is the radio silence. I emailed them 3 times and got no reply.
Also worried that the website no longer mentions their eshop- that was a bit selling point for me and now it seems to have gone...
