What I find really funny is the fact that Tokuro Fijiwara, the creator of the original arcade Ghost n' Goblins, would actually observe test players playing and learn what strategies they used to beat the game. He would then go back and rework the levels and enemies so that said strategies could not be used anymore. So, yes, the game was purposely designed to be as unfair and difficult as possible!
Oh man, I would love either a Dreamcast or Sega Saturn mini! The Genesis Mini was such an underrated console that seemed to be forgotten like the Turbo-Grafx mini because it came out after the "mini console" craze of Nintendo. If they did come out with a Saturn Mini (although I know this is a stretch), I would love to see them try to incorporate the light gun for the House of the Dead games!
