Back in the day, the Japanese version was out a year? before the canada/usa version. so this local place called the toy trader cashed in and got 10 Japanese copies with the adapter. so we all played it right before this movie came out haha.so it kind of spoiled the movie haha. I also played in a play choice 10 cab as well in English so not sure if those came out a bit before the game as well? but id always rent 25 in one carts from that place and that's how I got into Japanese games. also I really liked the Japanese box art too. pretty amazing they got all the mario 3 games in a time when importing was tough.

Yeah not really feeling the ps2 era, cell shading on this. Gameplay seems a bit sluggish as well. but I'm a fan of this series, and will give it a try anyway. at a discount of course. 😏

this is awesome! loved time gal. I think the only console release for ninja hayate was the PS1 release? and the compression? in that really made it look like VCD bootleg or something haha.
Maybe in a second collection we will get road blaster/road avenger etc.

Yeah this sudden craze of people getting into emulation all of a sudden is kind of odd haha. do you think that's part of the skyrocketing prices of hardware? or something else?
See a lot of recent social media posts of newbies taking photos with these miyoos and claiming its their 1st time getting into emulation in 2023. haha

I recently bought the gameboy box art book sealed, new. as soon as I opened it the binding was off. lol I have over 100 artbooks and never had that problem. so i'd say its a manufacturing issue. I probably will never buy one of their books again based on that lack of stitching etc. the book was too heavy for the gluing etc. but the content on the Gameboy box art book was great. I always blew off the other books just based on the content. who needs a book of screen shots? just kind of meh to me.

@Poodlestargenerica that would a ridiculous statement someone saying centy is better than Link to the past haha. I guess its just those weird sega fans that have that singular loyalty to one system.

its odd that konami hasn't released the requiem "collection" on switch yet. everyone is asking for SOTN, yet they choose to not do it. I seen people even run the Saturn version on their switch. so its not a emulation issue, probably just Sony?

@chardir maybe I'm wrong, but I think collectables are a new way to launder money. just like what the art industry is known for, its a legal way to flip dirty money into something tangible. that's my opinion anyway. I mean no reproduction should go for that unless its the last copy on earth. haha
