The set of games looks really promising for me and my kids to play together, and I really like their overall mission. I don't know why Intellivision doesn't just become a publisher for their games (or collections of their games) across current platforms. Would it be their entire vision? No, but it would probably help them reach a wider audience with a lower barrier to entry.
Sorry to hear all the negativity towards this system. To be honest though, even though the graphics are far more basic than I'd like, this is exactly what my kids (ages 4 and 7) are looking for: simple games that we call all play together on the couch. The switch actually doesn't have enough of this for them and the experience on tablets lacks the kind of interpersonal interaction they want. So I may be in the minority but I'm planning on getting one at launch and I'm really excited about playing it with my kids.
I can't wait for this! The Intellivision version of burgertime is still my all time favorite and I still play it! They highlighted Super Burgertime in the video so now I'm really stoked!
As a dad of two very young boys, I've found that there are actually few games that I'm able to play with them but I could envision that games like those that I've played on Intellivision redone with their family focus could hit just the right mark for us. Here's hoping!

Re: New Game Footage Suggests The Intellivision Amico Will Struggle To Pull Families Away From Switch
I'm looking forward to it. These are exactly the kind of simpler games I think my kids will love ...and I'll love playing with them
