Re: Internet Sleuth Finds "Lost" Super Mario Browser Game From 1997

Oh man, The Mushroom Kingdom website!!! That brings me back to when I used to read and check it almost daily back in the late N64-GameCube days. I learned so much about Mario games that I never played, and I loved the "old- early 2000s internet" feel of the website. This was long before YouTube and Wikis; it was an excellent source for screenshots, sprites and gifs. TMK and the Smash Bros Melee trophies helped me become much more immersed in the Mario franchise lol!

More specifically on topic, while I haven't played this browser game, I definitely remember browser games in general!

I really enjoyed reading this. Echoing what others say, I think her input is definitely underappreciated. That doesn't detract from David Wise' work on DKC2 which is still my favorite of the DK series, but DKC3 OST is still really solid overall. Frosty Frolics, the boss theme (my favorite in the series), the waterfall, Treetop Trouble, Pokey Pipes, and especially Water World stand out. Even disregarding the GBA's compression, I still highly prefer the SNES DKC3 soundtrack to the GBA port soundtrack.
