@UK_Kev the scale is really off in that game. It's really jarring if you live in London. The getaways virtual London is better even if the graphics are nowhere near as good

@Razieluigi it certainly plays better with twin sticks but it was originally designed for the mega drive and was designed around that systems controllers so plays just fine without two sticks.

@TransmitHim yes I think that's why nostalgia can often feel bitter sweet.

@Medic_alert something that can be said for some of these old games is that theres often a semblance of a good game there and with a bit of quality of life improvements they can be fun to revisit.

@Lanmanna yeah I have seen sindens recoil but it's not really the same/as good as the recoil on the proper cabs; with the blow back tops etc. Also as far as I can tell the one on the plug and play doesn't feature recoil.

None of these guns come with recoil as far as I can tell. Recoil alone makes me prefer a proper arcade cab for these games. Maybe one day we'll get one at home....

The annoying thing is $699 should not = £699

It doesn't get better than the GB Tetris for me. Everything else is just a distraction. Having days that I would like to give Tetris effect in vr a go. Other end of spectrum 🤣

@RadioHedgeFund I disagree but each to their own I guess. Personally I find TS2 to be still perfectly playable today whereas the other two games whilst boundary pushing at the time have agreed a lot worse.

I do agree the first wasn't amazing though.

I wonder how they got the licence for the cars. Looks like fun...

@Poodlestargenerica if you have a PAL console the being able to play games region free and in progressive resolutions would also be a good use for soft modding. Also, emulation if that's your bag but at this point there's probably much easier ways to emulate.

Wipeout 3 SE was the best for me. Glad that the PAL versions are actually good with this series.
