@gcunit I agree in theory, but they have the virtual console, and they sold NES and SNES Classic units. They barely support it. Obviously those classic units didn’t make enough for Nintendo to say let’s keep supporting it. Because this retro gaming niche is just that. Niche. Mines are collecting dust. So when are they going to make the jump to make money off these games? Because the main people interested are only getting older. If you’re going to make money off of 80s and 90s nostalgia now is the time. If not then just let people emulate this old crap, and Nintendo can still keep them engaged to buy new stuff.
