Because we do make everything here in the States, we can change anything : ). I'll see what it will take to make a model available with that aspect ratio. The software does currently load all the games in their native ratio, the user can choose to keep it that way or change it for each game or system wide.
We appreciate all the comments, I want to add a little more perspective on what we're doing. We are using the highest quality parts, we never intend to compete with the 1ups, or even the Atgames machines. Many of the parts inside we have designed and had manufactured for this cabinet, parts that will allow us to scale its functionality as time goes on. We never want our machine to become obsolete, it will always be upgradeable, have the ability to easily add accessories and keep up with technologies and modern games. It may appear to be just another Mame cabinet; however, we have created our own software, we are beginning to work with developers to create new original content (both for the retro ColecoVision and an updated modern platform we are developing) as well as a platform for indie developers and homebrewers to sell and distribute their content easily. In time you will see ColecoVision rebranded as a modern system that will maintain the magic it had at inception. Our goal is to bridge generations through a quality, evolving experience.
We love and appreciate the passion of the home gaming market, we understand everyone's concerns, all we ask is for a little patience. This is not a massive corporate effort, American Gear Company whom we have partnered with is a small family business with a passion for US manufacturing and arcade machines.
