Great interview. I have played all of the mentioned games, save for The Portopia Serial Murder Case, that influenced Detective Instinct so I have high expectations of this one.
I would have liked a new VF reveal alongside those games, but right now I'm just glad we're getting new Crazy Taxi, Jet Set Radio, Shinobi, Golden Axe and Streets of Rage titles, especially the last two.
It wasn't even that long ago we got SoR4 (which I loved btw) but it still feels nice seeing the series staying active, and a new GA is something that I have been wanting to see for a long time, almost as long as with VF.
Seriously though, the original announcement of the new Earthworm Jim game back then was the first time in my life I heard about this laughable system, which would have still been doomed to fail even if it got released.
The fact that they believe a mobile app will save it now is just sad.
One of the reasons I love The Fallen Star is because, unlike the majority of Sonic fan games out there, the game use an 'original' sprite model design for the main character(s), and such things are always a plus in my book. It also helps that the gameplay is very enjoyable as well. Can't wait to try out this upcoming beauty as well.
Cool, will be my first time playing the original version. I live in Europe so I only played βDevil Worldβ (the 2-player version that cut the other playable guy).

Re: Sega Resurrects The Iconic "Sega Scream" For Sonic Superstars
@Damo:
"Since then, the Sega Scream has become somewhat forgotten β until now."
Actually, as AshMcCool points out above, they already 'resurrected' the scream as recently as with atleast two Sonic Frontiers ads last year.

Re: Flashback: Xbox Got Its Name Because The Other Suggestions Were "F**cking Appalling"
All of these 'names' are either awful, boring, or just plain generic.
Whats quite funny is that, in a way, one of them eventually got to live on in the second Xbox console: "TSO (Three, Six, Zero)".
Re: Popular Fan Game 'Sonic And The Fallen Star' Is Getting "A Quasi-Sequel"
One of the reasons I love The Fallen Star is because, unlike the majority of Sonic fan games out there, the game use an 'original' sprite model design for the main character(s), and such things are always a plus in my book.
