I never got to play Infernal Machine on N64. Definitely one of those cartridges I missed out on and would love to play it. Sadly I doubt it'll ever come to Nintendo Switch Online but it would be wonderful if it was. Honestly LucasArts should figure out somehow to add Infernal Machine and Rogue Squadron to the N64 NSO app!
@NightBeast Agree, release it in the Sega Genesis/Mega Drive Collection on Switch and other systems via DLC. I would totally play this game but I'm not going to go out and track down a reasonably working Sega Genesis just to play the game. Plus all the workarounds to get to function on an HDMI television, I don't have any classic CRT tvs anymore.
I love retrospective features like this!!! I remember jumping on board the Pokémon bandwagon when it first hit Canada. My friend got Blue Version, I got Red just so we could trade exclusives back and forth. Ohh that tangled mess of the GBC Link Cable! HAHA! Fond memories. While I never really got in to the Trading Card Game (again, outside the GBC video game adaptation), I've been onboard with the Pokémon video games ever since. Now I'm 32 (oy) and I can't wait to pop in Let's Go Pikachu in to my Switch at the end of the week. My gaymer hubby and I regularly play Pokémon GO and we've been re-visiting the Virtual Console releases as well as keeping up with the games on DS/3DS! And we'll still be there when the core RPG gets released later in 2019! Gotta Catch Em All!!!!
I remember this, and now I feel sooo old. LOL! It was this race that made me beg my mom to buy me a SEGA....I wasn't specific, any system would do. She wound up getting me a used SEGA Game Gear that came with a hardshell case, an AC adapter, and a copy of the original Sonic The Hedgehog game. So many amazing memories with that system (Super Columns, Super Return of the Jedi - I wound up finally getting all the Super Star Wars games off the Wii Virtual Console -, The Lion King, Sonic 2, Sonic Triple Trouble, and so many others)! Very grateful it came with the AC Adapter because I don't think my Mom would have ever wanted to buy 6 AA batteries every few days, HAHA.
Back in the day, I had a Dinky Dino. I'm not sure I'll get this Tamagotchi. Frankly if I wanted one, I'd probably just go the iOS app route, and have the monster on my Apple Watch. It's cheaper and doesn't require another device to use. That said, Stardew Valley is eating up my entire life so I doubt I'll get something like this right now.
Switch needs to get GameCube games on to its Virtual Console (well I guess they need to get the Virtual Console first). But if it does, then the Rogue Squadron 2 and 3 games should be included, plus the N64 original. Or better yet, given that the Joy-Con have motion control, they should try to get the never-released Trilogy pack on to Switch.
