Re: Time Crisis Is Arcade1Up's Next Release

Darthmoogle

Why not the first 3 Time Crisis games though? It has the foot pedal it would make sense to put the others in as well. I understand Time Crisis 4 not being there because that game would likely need beefier hardware to emulate but I would think the first 3 should be fairly easy to get running. I just don’t feel 4 light gun games justify the $750 asking price. I want to want this, and part of me does, I’m just disappointed in how bare the library for this. Not nearly as bad as the Terminator 2 cab, but between the price and needing space I would appreciate more games being put on these. I do understand licensing can get in the way, so while it would be awesome to have say House of the Dead bundled into this I get that it can’t happen, but surely they can give us more than 4 games for this price

Re: The GameCube & Wii Emulator Dolphin Adds New WiiConnect24 Support & More

Darthmoogle

I wish I had the knowledge to run these emulators properly. I have dolphin on my old laptop to try to run my games upscaled but even when I get it to work I can’t get it configured properly. More than anything though I would like a user friendly Wii U emulator just so I won’t lose access to Xenoblade Chronicles X forever. I already had to replace one dead Wii U…

Re: FlippyDrive Is An Exciting New Disk Emulator For The Nintendo GameCube

Darthmoogle

If this is easy enough for me to install I might just pick up a second GameCube and try it out. I have a fairly extensive GCN collection including some of the rarer/valuable titles like Fire Emblem PoR, Cubivore, Custom Robo, and MGS Twin Snakes among others. I’d rather not risk damaging these disks over time. No to mention if/when the disk drive eventually dies it’s nice to know id still have a way to play these as well as all the other GCN classics

Re: Not Used Your Wii U In A While? It Might Be Dead

Darthmoogle

Mine died on me last year, I had to buy a replacement console online, fortunately when buying the console by itself without a game pad it wasn’t that expensive and Nintendo was able to assist with getting my previous purchases on the replacement, but I worry that the same will happen with this one. I really don’t want to lose access to Xenoblade Chronicles X… still hoping Nintendo and Monolith get the game ported/remastered on Switch or whatever its successor will be. No way a what 10-11 year old console should die like this. I don’t know how to pc emulate Wii U games but I might have to learn. I’d rather stay on the original hardware if I can though. Hopefully with reports like this going out more the community can work on ways to repair it. Does anybody here know if a good idiot proof instruction to back up the NAND?
