How is THAT simpler than how the mainstream consoles handle digital titles?! And why does it also sound way less consumer-friendly, to top it off? Do they even want to compete with the Big 3 at all?
You can buy a modded Saturn, and a Genesis and SNES Classic (both easily hackable) all for less than this. The Turbografx Mini is STILL unhackable, but is still a solid purchase overall. As such, I can only ask...why would you buy this again? (Although to be fair, I'm not entirely sure that the TG16 Mini existed yet as of the announcement of this thing, but still...)
Wouldn't want to link the download link here, Konami would obviously be very mad indeed. You know, for...reasons, I'm sure. The Castlevania IP is such an important IP to them after all, and they cared about this game in particular a ton, obviously! No doubt you avoided the ire of Konami this time Nintendolife, good job!
EDIT: Wait, there was a crazy auction for this disc, too!! Where is that in the article?!
...Or you can play them on the MVSX in proper arcade fashion, if you did the super simple hacks for the device. For some reason, Toaplan games have perfect performance on them somehow.
Yeah.......still not sold. That $400 is most certainly NOT a bargain if you still own all the consoles this thing supports, in working condition. Which, let's be fair here...most retro gamers already have, or at the very least, a Mini that substitutes for them, as well.
Erm... definitely waiting to see the hackability of this one...that is a WEIRD selection of games, and far worse in number than any Neo Geo Mini model.
I own an AV Modded Famicom, bit I've always wanted an AV Modded SG-1000 as well...but sadly, that seems like a much more expensive endeavor than the $60 I paid for my modded Famicom...
Seems nice, but at the same cost of a Switch, and AV problems being oddly concerning...it may be the best option, but I still feel there will be an even better one some day.
I saw one of these at Target before Christmas, and was tempted to get one, but I saw it was made by the same company who I knew made the horrible plug-in versions. I passed because of this fact, so I guess it was for the best after all, sadly.
I've heard of these things before, but this article did not answer a couple of questions I still have:
1. Do the built-in games save at all? 2. Does the infrared port work? Aside from the Pokemon TCG game, I'm not sure how many other games used it, but the Pokemon TCG game is still good enough to worry about that, since a couple cards can only be unlocked that way.

Re: Polymega's Latest Update Adds Game Boy And Virtual Boy Screen Filters
Still can't get SGB borders to work, eh? Welp, looks like injected 3DS CIAs are still the best way to play GB/C games then. What a shocker.

Re: Hardware Review: Analogue Mega Sg: Forget The Mega Drive Mini, This Is The Real Deal
No thanks, I'll just stick to my actual Genesis, which is already as authentic as one can get...
Re: Feature: One Company Is Retrofitting Classic Systems With HDMI Output Without Costing The Earth
Still more expensive than I'd like that to be. If a TV manufacturer wants my money anyway, it better have composite slots available anyway.

Okay, I'm way more interested in this than their Nintendo console efforts, I'll admit...that price is pretty high for me currently, sadly...
