@JackGYarwood Same here. I'm finding that apparently it's considered difficult. Maybe I just "got gud" but the first SNES Jurassic Park game was much harder than this one, this was about the same as the Genesis/MD JP game. JP2 could be frustrating but if you kept at it (and had a 2nd player) it was really a good game. Its cool to see someone care enough to smooth out the rough spots though all these years later.
I must be a masochist because I thought JP2's overall difficulty was usually fine, IMO its no worse than Contra 3, it was just really unbalanced to an extreme degree in spots. And yes the soundtrack is really good, especially for a licensed game of that generation.
While there are probably other open source reverse engineered MIDI controllers and synth chips that are more geared toward musicians that could be used for this kind of thing, it sucks to see anyone quit hardware hacking because of toxicity and theft.
I didn't expect to see Cody Wright referenced here of all places, its not normally a name that people who aren't seriously into bass know. Awesome to see though.
Seeing Starflight mentioned was pretty awesome too but I knew about the connection there already, it was one of my favorite games for a long time.
The Genesis version of Aladdin was great. The sword was fiddly but the artwork and animation were a lot better. The SNES game to me seemed like a bad Mario clone, and it's funny because generally I preferred the SNES during the era. I'll second whoever said the Genesis game with SNES tech would have been really awesome.

You're Winner, especially because the other big rig doesn't move.
The three handled trophy too.
Re: Is This Really Japan's Worst Video Game?
It was bad but there were worse. Hardcore 4x4 with its 8 fps comes to mind.

Re: Random: Sega's Winter Heat Hides A Chilling Prediction About The End Of The World
That sounds an awful lot like Aum/Aleph and their dogma about an impending apocalypse, which they tried to accelerate with the Sarin attacks in 1995.
