Wow a lot prefer the 3 button controller? I was always hogging the 6 button controller it always felt better in the hands than the chunky older brother. I remember when they released the new controller we replaced the whole console to get a hold of them. Good times..
And who really wants that useless tower of power. What are you gonna do with it? Stare at it? May as well just invest in original ones even if they don’t work as all your getting is a display item anyway. Rant over from confused person.
Personally I'll stick with GBA SP and the DS to play game boy and GB color games. And if didn't have those I'd still rather hunt down one online. Not into the cheap clones etc. but each to their own I guess.
I use an old flash cart very rarely on my Ds to try before I buy. I don't own any older consoles like snes etc but if I did I would do the same. Why would I take a gamble on an expensive hard to find game end up buying it and not enjoy the game itself. I'm a gamer not a collector I like to play these old games but really not interested in padding out my collection with subpar games that I won't play. I know that's not totally acceptable but I am a free thinking human who is doing this for myself and not for profit so all those nay sayers please go back to your corners, it's been a big day for you you should go back to have a rest now.

Re: Introducing The Playdate, Panic's New Handheld Video Game System With A Crank
Yeah it would be cool except the price, just 2 buttons and the black and white screen.... oh well could have been something I would have been into.
