I like that they denounce Walmart all the while leaving the Walmart link on their Facebook page. They also posted this news as a story and NOT on their Facebook or Twitter feed, likely because they've got hords of screaming customers who are getting tired of waiting 2 years for a machine they've already paid for. They lock comments so people can't be critical of them, they don't respond to questions, and they STILL have no firm ship date. I wonder at what point lawyers or the authorities step in?
I was their Japanese editor at the very end. It was a mess. None of the other writers could make deadline. Dave Halverson kept asking me to go into Akihabara and take pictures of toys and figures, not for the magazine, but so he could pick out stuff to buy. Still, I appreciate having the ability to say that I worked for GameFan.
