@zzzzzzzz it is my understanding that Lemonade is including updates that were done after Lemonade was forked, so not just an issue of not preserving git history.
@BulkSlash Citra was shut down, but that doesn't prevent people from creating their own project based on the Citra code. The developers being talked about here that are having their code used by Lemonade weren't part of Tropic Haze, LLC, which is why they were not forced to stop work on emulators. The agreement between Tropic Haze and Nintendo was that Nintendo got the copyrights, and Tropic Haze agreed to not ever work on anything involving Nintendo intellectual property. Devs that were volunteers and not officially part of Tropic Haze are not subject to that agreement.
