I had a CD-I...3DO...and the Jaguar. The systems weren't really that bad...well...the CDI was in games...but it was my first CD video system. It was pretty amazing at the time watching videos from CD. Also, I thought the Jaguar was pretty good. It wasn't any Sega/Sony/Nintendo system...but it had its moments. I also had and loved the Turbografx with CD attachment. To this day Ys 1&2 on Turbo CD is one of my favorites games ever.
@DeathUriel Speak for yourself. I'm 42 (just turned so)...was been married...have 2 daughters and 3 step-children...and am still and always have been and will be a gamer. I've passed this on to my daughters who love gaming as much as I do (if not more). Its always been a great way for us to bond together over something. Just because you get older...have a family...a job...etc...doesn't mean the passion for gaming leaves your blood. Maybe you might not have as much TIME for gaming...but the joy of it is still there waiting whenever you DO have the time. Also, there's news sites like Nintendolife, etc., to get more gaming fixes in between times actually on systems. I will never stop being a gamer and will die with a controller in my hand.
