Re: Poll: What's The Best Handheld Of All Time?

Maybe it's because I was born in the early 90s, so I was too young to appreciate it, but the og Game Boy did nothing for me. Imo, most of the good games were just simplified versions of games I could play better versions of on home consoles. Pokémon is one of the only exclusives that stands out to me.

I feel like the Game Boy Advance was a huge step up from the GB. It still had console ports, but there were a lot of creative games like Boktai and Drill Dozer, plus the always reliable Pokémon and Mega Man Battle Network games.

I think I put the most time into DS and 3DS though. It continued the original ideas that were on GBA, but with the added touch screen and 3D graphics. I had to randomly pick between DS and 3DS.

PSP was fine, but the game library just couldn't stack up with the DS. Never owned a Vita (plan to buy one soon), but I feel the library didn't stack up with the 3DS. I don't think it helped that Sony basically abandoned support as soon as the PS4 took off.

Switch is great too, but I feel like it's still too soon to consider it as the best.
