I guess I’m just too casual to notice. Either that or these guys have superhuman perception. When I play games on NSO, they feel exactly the way I remember from playing on original hardware as a kid.
@Impossibilium I actually played Fallout New Vegas for the first time last year, and I thought it was great, so I wouldn’t worry too much about it feeling too old these days.
I’m generally on Nintendo’s side when it comes to this stuff, but why do they even care about anyone hacking a console that they don’t manufacture anymore after they shut down the easiest way to buy games for it?

A little unwieldy, but I think it gets the point across.
Heck, I’m playing Mega Man: Dr. Wily’s Revenge on 3DS right now, despite having heard for years that it’s terrible, and I’m thoroughly enjoying myself. Game Boy games are certainly stripped down compared to modern games, or even console games of the same era, but there’s definitely plenty of fun to be found. There’s a reason the Game Boy is the 4th bestselling console of all time.
I am one of those who did not know this was a thing. Now I need to go dig out my Gamecube and see this for myself.
Update: I’ll be damned.
2nd update: As one of the (apparently) few people who did not know about the eject button, I feel like I should address a few things. No, I did not read the manual. Why would I? It was my 7th video game console, I knew how they worked at that point. And no, I did not look at the actual button. I had a Playstation and a Dreamcast at this point, (not to mention a CD player). On all of those devices, the middle piece was not an eject button, so I had no reason to think it was on the Gamecube, especially since I never had any trouble getting discs out anyway.

Re: Exclusive: The Evercade Handheld Is Getting Earthworm Jim, Clayfigher And Midnight Resistance
@Doktor-Mandrake Man, I just remembered that I had a dream the other night that Earthworm Jim 3 came out, and it was a point and click adventure game.
And also, it was a harbinger of the end of the world, for some reason.
Re: Exclusive: The Evercade Handheld Is Getting Earthworm Jim, Clayfigher And Midnight Resistance
@Doktor-Mandrake I can imagine! Everything about what they’re doing with that franchise is bizarre.
Re: Exclusive: The Evercade Handheld Is Getting Earthworm Jim, Clayfigher And Midnight Resistance
Weird. They should just put these games on the Switch. Seems like they’d probably make more money that way.
