@GravyThief great question! I think most people used the default controls (1.1 Honey) but nearly every match had at least one person using the 1.2 Solitaire setup.
@GravyThief thank you! And yes, things have been a little bit busy on the competitive GoldenEye front. 😆
Glad to hear you're thinking of going through the Bomberman N64 games. The first has a decent single-player adventure for sure. Lots of people rave about Bomberman Hero too, and while I don't rate it as highly, it is nevertheless good simple fun.
@Freek fantastic photos — thank you for sharing! Love how everything is looking so mint. I am very envious of your PAL copy of Starcraft 64! Question: did the Turok comics come as part of a special edition or are they a separate purchase?
Glad you enjoyed the article, thanks for the kind words.
I wasn't a fan of the game, unfortunately--it felt a bit repetitive at times--but from a technical standpoint it was beautiful. It's nice to read that some of the team thought that adding in Star Fox wasn't a good idea - I personally think it was a mistake on Miyamoto's part, although without knowing what it would have been like/sold like as Dinosaur Planet, who can truly say?

@GravyThief yep, that's correct!
Not a huge fan of DK64 myself, but have to say this Japanese version looks lovely...might need to get hold of a copy 🤣
Re: Feature: The Inside Story Of Games-X, The UK's First Weekly Video Game Magazine
Great article! It's astonishing how they managed to keep up with the weekly publication cycle.
