I think we need to preserve games as playable media. I only got to initially experience FFVI and Chrono Trigger thanks to emulation. I later bought the games on GBA and DS. I missed out on some series too.
My view is dont pirate anything current that might put devs out of a job. Pirate old stuff that might not be accessible otherwise. Pirate stuff the devs dont localise.
