Virtua Fighter 5 remains to be one of the best fighting games ever made. I'm a little disappointed Sega really has not properly followed up yet considering it already has a massive competitive following.
@Poodlestargenerica I would take gameplay fixes over aesthetic and music changes any day. As a matter of fact, I honestly think it's even better than the original, because it follows the intended vision of the game.
This entirely depends on the game and its availability. If you ask me, a game like Return of Samus or Link's Awakening DX aren't exactly worth playing because remakes exist, and especially for LADX, there are so many necessarily QoL improvements that become an afterthought in many people's minds, with stuff like the slow snail text speed and the less defined visuals make things difficult to see and navigate.
Conversely, I would recommend playing Game Boy games in the latter half, with stuff like Oracle of Ages/Seasons being designed specifically with the Game Boy limitations in mind and fixing all these problems from LA and LADX.
As long as there is a continued stream of games, this console might do well, except there's one problem.
If there are SNES games, that layout of the face buttons has got to go. ABXY works better than BAYX because the games were designed with ABXY in mind. I don't know what the reasoning behind it is, whether Nintendo ACTUALLY patented the ABXY button layout or everyone just prefers BAYX (damn you, Sega and Microsoft), but I'm a bit nitpicky on that part.
At this day and age, entering the game console industry is worse than launching a successful and profitable restaurant, but trying to return to the industry is like a whole different beast. Atari is basically having an identity crisis with their console, so imagine how this plays out.

@Bobb
Sounds like a situation similar to Smash Melee NTSC vs PAL.

Re: Hardware: Anbernic RG552 - A Big-Screen Upgrade To The Popular RG351
There is one thing I absolutely appreciate the creators for doing: It's using Nintendo's original ABXY button layout again.

The only way to get people to shut up is if this was released on both Microsoft and Nintendo platforms

For a moment, I thought that a magazine company said it would be a profound waste of time to reprint their magazine.
