@KitsuneNight There's definitely something going on with the cart slot though, better performance on the same games when tinkering with the screws or how far I push the cartridge in.
@Damo I picked up an elite version but I'm having compatibility issues with most titles, most often sound problems but you say largely most games run well? I'm wondering if it's the cart slot? I'm running the latest firmware on a decent SD card.
Fascinating interview. It's quite clear from some of the answers, he doesn't possess the knowledge he thinks he does. It's a bit weird, to say the least, at some points.
Considering I didn't play my first RPG until the release of Symphonia on the GameCube, I've done pretty well, having played and completed everything on this list!
If I had to pick one as a favourite, it would have to be Chrono Trigger.
I think the criticism is somewhat harsh. Sure, it doesn't have the class of the Japanese cover but it's more generic than it is terrible. It reminds me of a lot of the covers of the era.

Re: The Making Of: John Romero's Daikatana, The Game Boy Color Zelda Clone That Outscored Its Big Brother
I picked this up mainly because it seemed such a curiosity and was surprised by just how much I enjoyed it.

Re: Review: Toaplan Arcade Shoot 'Em Up Collection Vol.1 - Shmup Smarts
Out Zone may be my favourite run and gun games ever, pure adrenaline rush from start to finish with a top tier soundtrack.

Re: Sega's Vomit-Inducing R360 Is An Endangered Species From A Different Age
Had a few goes on the G-Loc unit back when these were new, a big chunk of my pocket money was required though, so it didn't happen too often!
Re: The Worst SNES Games Of All Time
What I would say about the Flintstones though, it has a brilliant soundtrack, amazing use of the SNES' sound chip.
Re: Anbernic Reveals New RG505 Handheld, Alongside Specs
Having been very impressed by the Anbernic device I picked up, I'm very interested in his.
