I had been keeping a pretty open mind towards this project. It could have been a really cool unit. Unfortunately console live and die on their games and sadly these look very basic and really poor. Honestly the software looks massively rushed and of phone/flash quality. For that price most people are gonna be out.
I hope they release a collection or two of the various titles in the series at some point. I’d love to have the maximo’s and demon crest games out in them as well. I’ll def get the new one when it comes out. Honestly one of my favourite series of all time.
@JayJ totally agree. A premium product like that should have the majority if not all the library available. Wonder if they will be trying to sell additional games on it after market?
It’s such a crowded and competitive market now with all these mini systems, FPGAs, clones, plug n play it’s so hard to succeed. Best of luck to them but they are trading on a name modern gamers would never have heard of and a fair few oldies, like myself, are pretty indifferent to. Hell Of a team on paper though
Honestly this project has stunk since it was first announced and the smell isn’t getting any better. Atari is dead, this is just a vulture animating it’s corpse.
@JayJ think the jaguar Cd attachment is even more unreliable if you can believe that. Also that amstrad console the GX4000 is also meant to be a time bomb
@YANDMAN yeah I have a pc engineduo r in absolutely perfect condition. It’s my pride and joy. The games are completely one of a kind. It’s such a neglected classic. Honestly love it
@YANDMAN I always saw it as such a shame as the PC engine was such a great console. It also did well in Japan as well. Would have loved to have seen where it could have gone next. It wasn’t to be
@sdelfin really?? It took years for those games to come out? Had no idea that was the case that is very strange. That portable pc engine was also a strange choice. Sega seemed to make the same mistakes but on a grander scale. Spending loads of money on projects they weren’t 100% behind.

I love the look of it and the games but for that price I feel it should have more titles on it. If it ends up on sale then ill look again.
Re: There's A New Intellivision Coming, And A Trio Of Former Nintendo Staffers Are Helping Launch It
Is it just me or does the console look like a piece of medical equipment. Resuscitation paddles

Re: Hardware Classics: Unpacking The 32X, Sega's Most Catastrophic Console Failure
@Gerald it totally does look like a toilet seat on top of the Jag. Brilliant stuff, surely someone at headquarters could see it??

Why did NEC even release the super grafix? They only had 6 games on it or something.
