My personal recommendations would be Nadral, simple gameplay but the surreal visuals and eerie soundtrack make for a tense experience; The Eidolon, one of a handful of games that use Lucasfilm Games' 3D engine producing a slow paced but enjoyable dungeon crawl of sorts; the two Alternate Reality games, spiritual ancestors of the classic SSI D&D games; and Temple of Apshai Trilogy, a vaguely rogue-like overhead dungeon crawler. Also, I'm not sure if the Mini supports emulation of upgraded hardware (expanded RAM and dual POKEYs), but if it does then take a look at the Numen demo to see what the machine is capable of.
