@bluebonics Ah, the business argument.

So a business has the right to act like *holes because they’re a business?
I saved my hard earned money to buy a Switch at launch. The left joy-con never worked. I had it fixed three (!) times before I said I wanted a replacement. They refused to give me the product I paid for and since then, I have no more mercy for Nintendo when things like that happen. Until that joy-con is replaced (never), I’m only buying their games 2nd hand.

@gcunit Ok sure, but as long as they’re not selling it, we should be able to play these games. It’s cultural preservation. You don’t close a museum because the paintings are too old. We are the ones making Nintendo great. Of course there’s some entitlement that comes with that.

Some people will defend anything..

Plus, if I bought a game on the 3DS store and they took it down so I can’t access it anymore, there is absolutely no reason I shouldn’t be getting that game elsewhere.

This is why Nintendo is pure evil and they’re never getting any money from me ever again. They see us as just consumers and we’re only relevant to them until we made the purchase. After that it’s taking down online stores for consoles that they were still selling not so long ago, and not refunding or replacing hardware that never worked. And in this case, rolling their big capitalist muscles against someone who helps keep their franchises alive.
Don’t let those pink dresses and cute mushrooms fool you. Nintendo only wants your money, and as much as they can possibly squeeze out of you.
