I thought this was quite exciting. I know things are very shaky with Amico at the moment, but it looks like they are pushing forward with it in the hopes of some additional investment.
I think the guy presenting the video commented that they have manufacturing in place but not mass scale manufacturing yet.
I'll be glad if this comes out but I won't buy one until I read a few remarks from people with opinions I trust.
Sadly with increasing cost of old games I'm not sure why you'd want one unless you had the money, and space. Those with already large collections of games though, I can see the appeal. Me, I just want a choice of classic and new games on my current system.
I've had two video game collections in my life and I sold the first one which I regret massively. I had mint a mint NES, SNES, N64, Game Boy, Game Boy Color, games for all of them and more. I've rebuilt my collection somewhat but it's definitely not as impressive as it was. But to be fair, if I still had the stuff I originally sold as well as the stuff I have now it would not fit in my house.

Re: Hudson Soft's "Lost" 'SimCity' Game For Japanese Phones Has Just Been Preserved

Not buying a device from company led by a person that donates his money to Donald Trump and the Republican Party.
Re: Super Mario Bros. CD Is A New ROM Hack Inspired By A Console That Doesn't Exist
This looks wonderful but there’s no way this’ll survive the inevitable cease and desist unless they’ve got a reskin ready and waiting!
Re: The Platformer Celeste Has Been Unofficially Ported To Playdate
Will be interesting to see how this plays. It does look beautiful. I loved this game on Switch and got really into this version that was in that game.

Oh dear. Sort of doesn't make me feel too bad about his current predicament.

Re: Hardware Review: PC Engine Mini - Still An Acquired Taste, Even After 30 Years
Snatcher not being in English which must have been possible as there is an English version, has really spoiled this for me.
Re: Introducing The Playdate, Panic's New Handheld Video Game System With A Crank
This friggin' adorable. It's going to be so limited isn't it? I've registered my interest though.
