Technically it would need 2 analogue sticks to be fully compatible with every fighting game.
Remember SNK Heroes on the Switch? Well that game likes to be special where you have to wiggle the right stick to use items (oh, and this function can't be changed in the control settings).
To be fair, I suspect the game developers didn't want you to use an Arcade Stick.
They sent an email to the backers a few days ago where they gave you a code for the cost of the tier you pledged (the region box you can pick) in the shop. I would check your spam, or get in contact with them if you haven't received it.
I think it's safe to it was "Stewart Gipp" who didn't like the game, and wrote a pretty bad "AVGN" review in the process.
From what I played of the Switch version, and paid £20 for the physical version (which includes the DLC), it was a decent Arcade remake. If you like Bubble Bobble, but want a different take on it, I would recommend. 7/10 from me.
It's cool they are doing the same for the sequel, but maybe they have done that at the same time as the first one?
If you really want to play GameCube backs, it's much easier to use Nintendont App on the Wii or Wii U (you just need to install the Homebrew Channel). All you need to buy is a SD Card/USB Stick. What I like about Nintendont is it runs the correct BIOS based on the discs region, so the Donkey Konga games for example will save. You can also save the game on a GameCube Memory Card or to the SD Card/USB.
Now if you have to play on a GameCube, you could just buy a SD Media Launcher (https://www.codejunkies.com/Products/SD-Media-Launcher__EF000580V.aspx). Only cost you around £19.99 (plus postage). You just have to plug it into the Memory Card Slot 2. No need to make any modifications to the console, and you can still play original games.
The only irritating thing is you have to use a 2 GB to boot Swiss. If you want to boot GameCube ISOs, you need to swap out the SD Card (while in Swiss menu) to a SDHC (I use a 32 GB) with the GC ISOs on.
The only issue you have to be aware of is playing some Japan games on a US/EU console and vise versa. You get issues like not saving/text not displaying correctly. What's irritating for me is the SD Media launcher (US) will only boot up if the US BIOS is selected, so I can't play Japan Backups.

The only way to unlock Penta Penguin is by entering that code. You even have to use the same code to unlock him in CTR: Nitro-Fueled. Good times.
Sonic Spinball has two where you can unlock the level select or jump straight to the credits. I'm still wondering if Lee Actor ever became an actor? XD https://tcrf.net/Sonic_Spinball_(Genesis)
As you can see, the Mega Drive had double the processing power using the Motorola, compared to the Ricoh that the SNES used. The Mega Drive also displays more pixels on the screen.
The Z80 was used for generating the sounds in the Mega Drive.
At Blackpool, I bought Super Smash Brothers DX (GameCube - Japan Version) for £25 from Sore Thumb Games. The game didn't work. Just comes up with a disc reader error. I even tried dumping the game, and it only dumped 900MB. They clearly don't test the games they have. Avoid!
Plus it is difficult to return the game to them, as the only proof I have is a leaflet they gave me. Hard to prove I bought it from them.
Errr... Does someone want to tell Matt Bozon he could easily release Shantea and the Pirates Curse as a 3DS Cartridge or Wii U Disc? Basically, there is the option for a physical copy, and the fun option of collecting can still exist. Shame downloads are the way of the future.
I would be curious of the specifications for this machine. Very odd they are not mention in the kickstarter. Also, bring back the N-Labels. Don't use the Atria Jaguar's pointless cartridge handle.

Re: Another Game Boy Game Just Got The 'DX' Treatment
Spanky's Quest is an awesome Gameboy Game. It has that Bubble Bobble charm. It's nice this has been given the colour treatment.
