@EightBitMan Honestly if sea of thieves had come out and was produced by say, an indie company, a lot of it's faults would be easier to swallow. I thought it was an average game at best, and seeing as how it's coming from a veteran dev with MS bankrolling it, it's disappointing to say the least that it turned out to just be mediocre.
@Damo As someone who's played sea of thieves, I can't even begin to understand how you would consider it a comparison to what they've accomplished in the past. I think you're mistaking evolution with survival, as I'm sure if rare hadn't produced something for Microsoft, they'd be gone.
There was definitely a period in my childhood that I would be extremely excited for the newest Rare game to come out, but that was almost 20 years ago. Shame to see what they've become now.
@Damo You guys have some good content, I won't deny that. There is some cringe and controversy, but I do understand that it's a necessary evil in order to survive in the cutthroat world of gaming sites. Unfortunately, every site I used to frequent that kept things relatively quiet and safe without riling up the community has gone under because no one visits a place that doesn't have entertaining comments sections
@Kalmaro They overlook pretty much anything here if they're convinced it'll get clicks, even if it's not gaming or Nintendo related. Gotta make that money, son!

Ah, the clunky forefather of what is now referred to as a mid cycle console refresh!
