It's about dang time! I've been wondering why this doesn't exist for over 20 years. With the detachable cord it's like Sega had this in mind the whole time! I need this yesterday!
I just got this controller for christmas. The face buttons and dpad are better quality then the retrobits original wireless saturn pad and feel closer to the 90s original. The pro just feels like its a better build quality as well. I can attest to the reports being true about the shoulder buttons not functioning properly when in you put it in analog mode. So as it stands you can't even use it to play Saturn games that use the analog stick. The analog stick works but the shoulder buttons don't. So you can't straffe in 1st person shooters, hit the gas in racing games, or do acrobatics in nights.
Call me old fashioned, but if I haven't beat the game I don't want to see the ending. Its the principle of the matter you know. That is part of the reward for beating the game.
This thing sounds pretty awesome to me. But I just don't need it. I have a massive retro game collection and all the original consoles and have already spent plenty of time and money getting them all to work on my modern television. I have a framemeister, a hydra scart switcher, and all the quality scart cables, I even have the Hi-def NES mod by kevtris since the nes doesn't output RGB. I Want to need the Polymega because the ui is so slick and convenient. But I also just love the authentic experience of using the original consoles. If I didn't have the setup I already have I would definitely get Polymega, but unfortunately I just don't need it.
@KillerBOB Its definitely crossed my mind to get an AVS or Analogue NT. But that's gonna throw off the feng shui of my game room. All my consoles are official hardware 1st models. I have no clone consoles and would like to keep it that way. I'm just gonna wait it out until I can HD mod my NES.
I am someone who has all these old consoles and hundreds of games. I have most of them hooked up through a framemeister already. (Sadly except for the NES because it doesn't support RGB without heavy modification and only one website sells the hdmi mod and its always sold out.) The only reason a polymega is a little tempting for me would be to have it hooked up in my living room (as my game room is in the basement) that way I could conveniently play all my games in a second room and wouldn't have to move a console or get a game from the basement.

Re: Have You Ever Wondered Why There's No Sega Logo On Streets Of Rage 4, House Of The Dead, And Arcade 1Up's OutRun Cab?
Pretty sure Streets of Rage 4 has the Sega logo on the opening screens when you first turn on the game
Re: 'SuperSega' FPGA Console Will Play Genesis, Master System, Saturn And Dreamcast Games
It feels like its lacking unless they add Sega CD and 32x support.
Re: Someone Has Finally Found A Use For The NES Expansion Port
Very cool, I like the sound of this. They should also make it able to take an sd card loaded with roms.

Re: Polymega's 'Element Modules' Will Come With Wired Classic Controllers
I wonder how much each separate module will cost. Got a feeling it will cost a small fortune if you want all the modules.
