Re: Making Diddy Kong Racing Changed My Life

Fascinating article. Diddy Kong Racing is still my favorite kart racing game to this day.

The adventure mode was a blast. The music was charming and lovely - I'm surprised to learn that it wasn't composed by Grant Kirkhope.

The tracks were engaging and memorable. The controls were tight and became quite addicting once you mastered drifting.

I loved how the game was filled with secrets. Unlocking Drumstick and T.T the clock by beating the time trials was an enjoyable challenge.

The multiplayer modes were awesome; Especially the Icicle Pyramid one. I still remember the cheat code "Jointventure" which would let you play adventure mode with two players.

Thank you Kev for making such a fun racing game!
