Waiting for my stolen unit. No rush. I ordered it before I ordered the steam deck and that’s keeping me entertained.

Look forward to seeing what carts they announce.

@AstraeaV no, we paid and all the units got stolen. They have to be remade and whilst they are doing that they are doing a name thing for the credits.

Any units not stolen will be shipped

I’m one of those that had their unit stolen. Gutted but feel worse for blaze. Look forward to getting it when they can get sorted.

@scottishwildcat 100% but I’m guessing cancellation rate right now is huge so they thought this would guarantee more people attend and not pull out last min. I am guessing just my feeling. Maybe they didn’t think they could have an audience and suddenly decided it was safe. Who knows… I just have a feeling it’ll be covid related

@scottishwildcat covid times. No point asking 2 weeks ahead they need people that have clear covid tests right now.

Seriously people are asking for “real gamers” if you want that watch twitch or YouTube. On TV they will want some people the main stream have heard of. Stop gatekeeping gaming by suggesting only people you decide are “proper gamers”

I’d argue most people have never heard of him. They went just about as left field as you can go.

I love the gamecube and it’s one of the most underrated consoles of all time with some amazing exclusives. I have a hefty game collection and have two GCs - tempted to buy one of this and upgrade one and back up all my games - I pretty much own every game I would want on it but the appeal to boot and play without finding discs appeals

I’ve bought some games 15 times many times the route to get access taken away. That’s fine though right??? As long as I don’t get a rom Of a game I’ve spent over £200 in the past that would be morale corrupt of me.

I can post some topics that will blow your mind if you think using a 30 year old non commercial available ROMs is bad.... you’ll need a seat and a drink coz some of this stuff is like really bad..

In this day and age of digital cameras and ability to upload footage they could easily prove it works like they claim.

The fact they have uploaded fake footage and refuse to actually prove anything at this stage is a farce.

I’m amazed it’s a thing.

If like someone else said - it’s for a completed thing and it’s just to simply pay for production all good.

Otherwise your just paying someone to muck about and see if anything sticks.

I believe if you have an idea and want to get it to market you have to invest yourself (and not just your time) and make the project viable first - if you don’t you just won’t have the same passion to see it through.

I love the idea of things like this but am so turned off by kickstarter and crowd funded stuff it will always put me off... to many fail and don't deliver and the money is gone.

Its a shame because in principle I have no issue paying upfront for a game. just make sure I get what I pay for.
