As a kid the American soundtrack kind of blew my mind, coming straight from the Genesis. CD-quality sound in a video game? Wild. But I understand how out-of-place it is.
Ironic subtitle considering I don't love playing vertical games on this thing... But other than that this has been my favorite emulation-focused handheld. After I replaced the battery (highly recommended) it's been perfect. I bring it everywhere. Just feels good having multiple generations worth of games in your pocket and a good UI (I use 351Elec) to work your way through it.
I mean, I would love to have this. But you'd need a NeoGeo first. Not to mention there are hundreds of other ways to easily access NeoGeo games if you really wanted to. I think Hamster will be fine.
Although that does bring up another issue I've thought of... Are NeoGeo compilations done for? I had Samurai Showdown and Metal Slug comps on my Wii that were pretty good, both released for relatively cheap when you compare it to buying Hamster ports individually. But I can't see those ever coming to the Switch now, which is unfortunate.

Re: Review: 8BitDo Neo Geo Wireless Controller - It Just 'Clicks'
The clicky stick is extremely satisfying, like a tiny arcade stick for your thumb. I wish more controllers would adopt it.

I love my RG351V. I've probably been playing it as much as my Switch lately.

Are we sure that isn't just a cordless landline phone?
Re: Hardware Review: The Sega Saturn Bluetooth Pad Doesn't Live Up To Its Inspiration
Might as well wait for Retro-Bit's Saturn and Genesis line. It seems they're collaborating directly with SEGA and they look much better...

I always love a good vaporware story.
