It's like they referenced a yellowed SNES and thought that's how they all looked back during the rivalry. I totally agree the colors are wrong, should've had purple accents and no "yellowing" color.
Edit: okay I read more closely and see they mention sun damaged. But still not a fan even when that's on purpose. Would've been slightly more interesting if it had similar chemical that would yellow over time, but most people don't feel nostalgic about the sun damage aspect since that usually took many years later.
Even though it’s low resolution, it definitely looks better than you’d suspect with the double horizontal resolution that 3D provides and the expanded sense of depth.
There actually was a beta for the original capture card that supported 3D too about a decade ago that loopy shared on the forums which I used on my 3D projector. I’m glad that these betas are becoming more widely known because people should ideally capture stereoscopic gameplay for better presentation and preservation.
Another correction, this is different from native VR support since it still requires Virtual Desktop. I requested native Quest support but haven’t heard back yet.
Selecting so many (40) games and not adding numbers to them is definitely a safer approach to avoid controversy than the top 10 in order methods of other lists. Though perhaps 40 is TOO safe to avoid having to make tough decisions; I think my personal preference would be a 25 game limit.
Diddy Kong Racing is definitely something to be proud of. The controls hold up so much better than Mario Kart 64. It also had such variety of play with the different vehicles and adventure. I would love to see a successor in the form of Yooka-Laylee or anything else.

Re: Yes, You Can Buy Virtual Boy Merch At The Nintendo Museum
The real shame for Nintendo are the CD-i games, when can we buy the Unholy Triforce Trilogy merchandise?

Re: Someone Has Finally Found A Use For The NES Expansion Port
This isn't the first use of that port. I own the Enio expansion board as do others, though it may no longer be for sell. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VfVia-SwRCg
