Personally speaking, the major difference is the digital library. My Dreamcast games physically exist, I can even make back ups of them.
I have what, 3 generations? of games locked in the Xbox ecosystem. If MS pulls a Sega NOW for a future without a console (which doesn't seem to be "soon")... where does that leave my library?
-PC? Very few third-party games support "play anywhere" -Streaming? Licensing Hellscape for anything before this gen, a bunch of games can't even be bought anymore, they aren't going to wrangle streaming rights for them. -Back up? I haven't ran the numbers but I can't imagine it's going to be cheap to get enough drives to store them all or get physical copies.
It's not like Sony, Nintendo, or Steam is going to honour our purchases.
If theres a game that's crying out for a VR port, it's this. It wouldn't be the same as having that monster controller but a lot more practical and cheaper.
I have the RG35PS aka "the SNES-looking one", which I love, and if I ever find myself wanting a dedicated handheld just for fighting games I grab this too.
@Painkiller_Mike I remember stumbling across the scene during an IT class and a friend went "that chicks hot!" he was rather... conflicted when I said it was Chan.
If you get caught out, then try BSing your way out of it and get caught AGAIN. Just hold up you hands and confess. Honestly this news has probably killed the device outright.
"COLECO Chameleon is a versatile new video-game system that serves as a modern day take on the classic game console and will accurately play classic games from the past. The COLECO Chameleon also has the ability play brand-new games in the 8-, 16- and 32-bit styles, a growing and popular genre in today's game scape."
if its an Retro/retro style only system why dose it have dual sticks?
because indie games never need patching post release?
I don't see many indies taking advantage of this system, I would imagine produces cartridges more expensive then even discs. I would expect the likes of Capcom and other who made other snes remasters

Re: JoeyN64 Lets You Legally Back Up Your N64 Games And Save Data
I like it, shame I don't have that between moves and a small house fire I don't actually have many n64 games anymore.
Re: Going Back In Time - Do You Play Retro Games To Reconnect With Your Past?
All I can say is I bought the Disney collection on Switch out of spite, getting revenge for kid me they defeated.
